VtDigger.org – The Permanent Fund for Vermont’s Children announced a number of first round grants for 2015 to help provide a seamless continuum of early care and educational support for children, starting at birth and bridging into the public schools.

The Permanent Fund committed $700,000 to Vermont Birth to Three (VB3), an initiative that works to strengthen the quality of infant and toddler care in Vermont through a variety of strategies including mentoring, professional development, and creating sustainable business practices. VB3 has nearly 20 mentors working with more than 400 home-based providers throughout Vermont.
